JD Racing Ignition

JD Racing Ignition started in 1982 as dealer in electronic components. Dario Buschini, the owner, initially got focused on automation projects for industry, and realized several projects for many companies, some of these project became patented. In 1998 Buschini initiated applied electronics to engines and a new project was born: a programmable racing ignition for 2 and 4 strokes off road motorbikes.

Since 2000 J/D electronic is introduced in the market as producer of programmable racing ignitions with the registered trademark “JD Racing Ignition”.
Since these years, teams and riders are equipped with JD Racing Ignition products with successes in many championship series, such as 5 World Championships, 10 European Championships and over 70 National Championships all over the world.

Very significant for the company set up has been the victory in the USA National Championship with the Official Team Yamaha Factory USA. This happened in 2006.
In 2008 JD Racing Ignition provided knowledge and products as consultant and technical partner for the realization of the movie “Freestyle”. One highlight – in 2008 too – has been a Traction Control for Supermotard bikes, unknown in those times in this category.

JD Racing Ignition develops both hardware and firmware for ignition and injection boxes for mostly all motorbikes. All R&D begins with a deep study of functions and weaknesses of endothermic competition engines. Following the goals of improvement in R & D as well as in products and partnerships JD is associated with the Saragoza University in Spain in the field of development for an innovative 2 stroke engine.

The new started partnership with XPURE will connect JD with the University of Leipzig even with R&D in new fields
